Sting 'Em Jackets!

Last weekend, Kim Stroh and I decided to return to our alma mater, Howard Payne University, with our kiddos.  The hubbys were busy, so we decided to be brave and make the road trip with just us and our four kids.  We had the trusty new mini van to make the trip a little more cush and we had managed to find a couple of sweet college students to watch our kids Friday night, we knew it would be a super fun weekend.

And....it definitely was.  We squeezed a lot into 2 days, but I think the best part was getting to share HPU with our kids.  Payton is finally big enough to start understanding things and she had the best time.  She kept telling me how much she loved the "buzzy, buzzy bee" (aka yellow jacket) and by the end of the weekend, she was an expert at saying, "Awwwww......Sting Em" and making her stinger with her little finger.  We had a great time.

My favorite little jackets!

Payton made a friend, Lilah Snow.  Her mom, Candace, and I were in the same sorority......here are two of our future Delta Chi Rho girls in the making!

Payton using her stinger while we sang the school song.  She's a pro!
Kim and I were there too....Class of '03....wow! That's old!
Here we are with our wonderful hosts and dear friends, Dub and Deb Wilson!
The Wilsons had a fun pumpkin patch set up outside their house.
"Sting 'Em Jackets"
This shirt was a huge hit.  It was Clee's when he was a little boy!  Looks pretty good for being almost 30 years old!

We also got to meet our good friends, Michael and Abby Criner's daughter, Adele.  She is 2 months older than Cooper.  They were so funny.  They couldn't keep their hands off each other.  I think they were excited to see someone else their size!

How fun! And I was wondering where that shirt came from that Payton is wearing!
